Favorite hockey player: New York Ranger Henrik Lundqvist, the starting goalie for the 2006 gold medalist Swedish Olympic team, "because he is the best goalie in the world."
Most influential person in my hockey career is: his parents Michael and Jeannine "because they were always there to take me to all of my games and practices and always supporting me."
Best hockey advice ever given: "to always give 100 percent and never give up."
Career highlights: Danzi was a member of New York State championship teams at the squirt or peewee levels in 2000, 2001 and 2002, when the Long Island Royals took silver at the National Championships in Colorado. He played for the 2002 New York Islander Quebec peewee team and the Suffolk PAL Junior B team that finished third at the 2005 Nationals, when he was named first star. He was a member of the New York State festival team as a 14-, 15-, 16- and 17-year-old, and played for the Suffolk County Champion St. Anthony′s High School team in 2004. This year, he was named MVP of the Suffolk All-Star team that lost to Nassau, 3-2, in the Vytra Cup Game held at the Nassau Coliseum.
Ultimate goal: to play in the USHL and play NCAA Division I hockey

From his coach: "He is a very good goalie who has good anticipation and good positioning," Bobcats coach Aleksey Nikiforov said. "He′s very young and very emotional and needs to learn to control his emotions, but he has good potential. Whether it′s Division I or III, time will tell."
