Career highlights: DeMayo was a member of the New York Select teams as a 14-, 15-, 16- and 17-year-old. He participated in the USA National Select Festival as a 15- and a17-year-old and the Long Island Young Guns All-Star Game. He also played for the Nassau team in the Vytra Cup at Nassau Coliseum in February 2005. His teams took bronze in the 2003 Empire State Games, silver in the 2004 E.S. Games and bronze in the 2005 Junior B Nationals.
