From his coach: "First of all, when he′s on the ice you feel very comfortable. He brings confidence to the team when he′s on the ice," Nikiforov said of Hubbard. "He has a great personality and tremendous skills, both offensively and defensively. He′s very physical. If you direct him right, this kid has a lot of potential to play Division I [college hockey]."
From his teammate: "Casey′s a really big part of our team," said fellow defenseman Justin Porpora. "He′s really the strongest kid on our team. He′s got experience, age and a lot of skills, so he helps out our team a lot. He′s a really tough kid"
